Teams get things done that individuals cannot by themselves.
The strength of a team is as strong as its weakest relationship
Teams exist all around us; we don't necessarily see them.
Teams are dynamic and hold potential that is exponentially greater than an individual.
A team of 4 holds 6 one on one relationships
A team of 4 holds 4 relationships of 3
Teams require honesty, openness, maturity and synergy to function creatively
I am empowered by and empower the teams I'm on.
The era of lone ranger, do it myself, being super independent is done!

Coaching and Value
What's value? What's the energy exchange that represents that value?
How does one get agreement about the value and the energy exchange?
Understanding these concepts and how to apply them are essential ingredients to a thriving business.
Value - the inherent worth and preciousness - each of us is at our core. We as coaches bring our value, our preciousness to every client relationship (really, every interaction with anyone, anything. We cannot not do this!).
The coaching relationship is a vehicle that brings the essential inherent worth of the client into the consciousness of the client in new and wonderful ways.... Simple concept. Sacred work.
Many coaches, in our experience at Coaching4Value, are suffering from a lack of or diminshed connection to their essential worth, hence the true effectiveness of their coaching relationships is diminished. The question, then, is how can we as coaches connect more deeply to our inherent value thus empowering a greater capacity as instruments for our clients to do the same?
Deep spiritual work is one way, powerful coaching in the context of a value-based partnership is another. Actually, for me they are one and the same. This is the essence of what my experience has been as a founding partner of Coaching4Value. This container has transformed my life and business.
Profound transformation. This is what we want to share with a few ready souls who are willing to take on the joy and work of deeper connection to their essential value thereby transforming their businesses.
I think of this work as the virus of essential transformation. It is contagious and challenging. Once we catch it our world is changed. Better yet, once our clients catch it the world is changed - forever.

The Importance of Knowing your Values
Value is the inherent worth that underlies and infuses all of life. It is our nature, the core of who and what we are. Our individual lives are unique expressions of this value.
Value manifests very personally for each of us as our personal values - those principles that guide us in our daily lives. When we are not conscious of our personal values we are prone to make decisions and choices that may be out of alignment with what is inherently important to us. This often creates an underlying angst, a - "life is somehow not quite right....something is missing" - feeling that nags at us and can leave us feeling lost and unfulfilled. This is because we have lost contact with those principles that reflect the inherent worth of our lives.
In my many years of coaching experience I have seen numerous clients light up when we've uncovered and clarified their values. Each client's values have been unique to them in how they sense and experience them. When they get at what it is that drives them at a very deep level, experience this in their bodies then describe this experience they glimpse the inherent worth of their lives. They then have a tool for making personal and professional choices that will enliven and motivate them.
Values- honesty, integrity, truth, joy, stillness, humor, connection, commuunity, love, dignity, freedom, strength, compassion, beauty, learning, etc. This is just a very short list, there are many values that express the inherent value we all are.
What are your values? What drives and motivates you? What is the fundamental value of who you are? How would your life or business be different if you knew the answers?
More to come....stay tuned

Welcome to The Value Blog!
What is value? What are values? What does it mean to have a value added product or service? This blog will explore these questions and others that arise on this very important topic.
Why a blog on value?
I believe our world is experiencing a crisis in values. We can see every day examples of this in corporate greed and corruption, the rapidly declining state of our delicate ecological system, wars, hate crimes, consumerism, in how we personally can take our lives and loved ones for granted, etc. These are facts of the prevailing western capitalist culture.
A major contributing factor is that we've lost touch with our inherent value, what it means to be a human being and the possibilities that exist when we are in alignment with this fact.
My commitment to the readers of this blog is to provide lots of perspectives and thoughts about value that will motivate you to ponder the value of your own lives and work and to open you up to what it means to dwell in the possibilities that arise from the unlimited value that we all are.
